Early Life and Career

Kelly Reilly, born Jessica Kelly Siobhán Reilly on July 18, 1977, is an English actress from Surrey, England. In 1995, she made her screen debut in the series "The Biz." Her other notable early television roles include appearances in "Prime Suspect," "The Syndicate," and "Above Suspicion."

Breakthrough and Beyond

In 2006, Reilly garnered critical acclaim for her performance in the play "After Miss Julie" at the Donmar Warehouse in London. This performance earned her an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress. She subsequently landed significant film roles in "Pride & Prejudice" (2005), "Becoming Jane" (2007), and "Sherlock Holmes" (2009).
