FIA and Formula 1 Announce 2025 Season Schedule
75th Anniversary Season to Feature 24 Races
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and Formula 1 have announced the calendar for the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. The 2025 season will be the 75th season of Formula 1 and will feature 24 races. The season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 1st, 2025, and will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 23rd, 2025.
The 2025 calendar includes several new races, including the Miami Grand Prix in the United States. The Miami Grand Prix is currently scheduled to be held in May 2025, and will be the second Formula 1 race in the United States. The Las Vegas Grand Prix is also rumored to be added to the 2025 calendar. The Las Vegas Grand Prix would be the third Formula 1 race in the United States.
The 2025 calendar also includes several changes to the existing races. The Russian Grand Prix is scheduled to move from Sochi to St. Petersburg in 2025. The Japanese Grand Prix is scheduled to return to Suzuka in 2025 after being held at Fuji Speedway in 2024. The German Grand Prix is scheduled to return to the Nurburgring in 2025 after being held at Hockenheim in 2024.
